My 25 year old Metabo KHE32 hammer drill refuses to die and performs exactly as it did out of the box all those years ago. But it is heavy!Enter the young (and much lighter) pretender; another Metabo. It is a superb drill, the Marathon motor is so much smoother and the dust protection shows the development that has taken place over the years. It is a finely balanced and very well engineered drill, complete with two quick change chucks which allow both SDS masonry drill bits and conventional round shaft wood or metal drill bits to be used.Powerful, fitted with soft start and protected by a safety clutch (having felt the kick back of an old Hilti drill years ago I can personally vouch for the usefulness of this feature), the motor is a typical Metabo unit. The drill exudes quality and the switches and gear/function knob move with precision and solidity. The gear train synchronises beautifully and the hammer action, whether in stationary (chisel) or rotary (drill) mode, is very powerful.German engineering at its best and though not cheap compared to many of the similar drills on the market, I feel it offers exceptional value for money. Highly recommended and whilst I fear I will not get 25 years out of this one, my children most certainly will!

Wie beschrieben habe alles bekommen was ich wollte. Der Bohrhammer ist in einem Ordentlichen Zustand fast Neu gekommen.

Una macchina da guerra non si ferma davanti a nulla. L’ho comprato un po’ di tempo fa e l’ho voluto provare prima di recensirlo. Un prodotto veramente valido e professionale non ha paura di nulla il motore gira che una meraviglia se accompagnato a delle punte buone può forare qualsiasi cosa. Lo consiglio vale i soldi spesi
