I love Ulanzi products. They're the best. (Shout out to whatever YouTuber turned me onto them years ago, but who shall remain nameless because I can't remember who they were.) This is, of course, no exception. Ulanzi makes so many cool quick-release items. I have several and jumped at the opportunity to own another. But not just any other...a magnetic one...AND a clip one?! Heck yeah.This is a quality product, as I'd expect from Ulanzi. The clip's tension is nice and tight, so I expect it to grip well, especially since the rubber teeth it has are good quality also. The quick-release feature works well, too, of course. And the part that screws into your device has a tightening screw on the bottom to make things easy.If they don't make one yet, they should make a version of this that also has a ball-head (for example) built into it for angle adjustment. That's the only way I think it would be even better. As it is, I can use some stuff I already have to make it so I can adjust the angle. But if you will want to mount a camera to this and then stick it on something metal, for example, be prepared to add some additional accessories of some sort so that your camera lens isn't just pointing at the ground.

This backpack clip is impressive. It has a really strong magnet on the back of it, so you can mount it to something metal, if desired. The clip itself is very strong, and it has great grip. I like that it comes with a quick release mount and a 1/4" thread, but that is also where there is a problem. It does not include an action camera mount, so you cannot use it without also purchasing something like a tripod 1/4" mount to GoPro style adapter. If you slide this on your backpack strap, the threading is pointing straight ahead of you, which is definitely not useful without adding the gopro adapter to is, so you can mount the camera upright. It is an oversight, but one easily remedied by ordering a tripod adapter as well, but I just wish they included it, because overall, this clip is quite impressive.

This Ulanzi quick release backpack clip is an affordable alternative to the other quick release capture clips but sacrifices some security and durability. The build is all plastic but feels sturdy. The quick release system is also all plastic, including the plate. The clip is spring loaded but holds tightly to a strap. There is some teeth to help with the grip but note that if your strip is completely smooth, you can slide the clip off if you pull with enough force. If there's any ridges or anything else to break up the smoothness on the strap, this helps keep the clip from sliding off to the side even when pulling. However, under normal use, the clip holds in place. This is suited to action cams and anything else that's light, but I would not use it on any trek that's going to be "extreme". For those I would use capture clips that are closed on both ends. However, this makes for a quick option for light casual adventures.

I've been using this with my action 5 pro and its perfect.This clip has a lot of bite and it mounts very securely. It uses thick rubber pads and does an impressive job just staying where you put it even while hiking.The magnet is perfectly balanced. Not too hard to pull off, but it is confidence-inspiring with its hold to steel shelves. no slippage or sag in any way.The little circle base thing that connects to the clip can rotate and has 4 positions with strong detents. It requires deliberate action to rotate this base piece. nicely done.This is an excellent clip/product. I'm very pleasantly surprised. The entire setup is super fast to use. My only complaint is that I wish the piece that mounts to your camera used slightly heavier materials.Really great, fast backpack strap for small cameras. great for making videos around the city, community sports, especially around tennis and basketball courts.

Magnet feels like it has a pretty good strength and the quick release is a nice bonus.I got this to use with a small outdoor WIFI security cam as I can move it to different areas where the magnet has metal to attach to like the side or roof of our metal storage building. The clip feature makes it more versatile in where you can attach it.
