I managed to fit the letterbox with no issues, unlike a cheaper alternative brand, where the plastic screw boss sheered off on installation. I returned that and bought this one. it was more expensive, but well worth it. The quality of the item matches the price tag, and well worth the extra money imho.The screw bosses were metal, and screwed in much easier. Easy to tell which way around it was supposed to be as well. No instructions in the box, but as long as you have measured up correct the fit is as described, and fairly easy to work out how to install. i would definitely recommend this item to friendsI haven't had any mail yet, or anyone trying to wrap the letterbox. i suspect the weight will put them off, but I now need to replace the door handles, the numbers and spy hole now, to match.

Letterbox feels really good quality. Well insulated too. The stainless steel finish is a nice look

Easy to fit. Sturdy and 100% draught free. The hall is now much warmer. Letters and flat parcels can no longer be wedged in to the letter box leaving it open to the elements. The flaps are very strong when closing so anyone posting anything has to post it all the way though the outer flap and it usually drops to the floor. Either way the outer flap is always closed after postage. Great design feature and looks great too.

A good quality letter box. However, its appearance is completely let down by the fact that although the hinges are shown as being the same colour as the flaps in the pictures, they are actually black plastic which makes the installed covers look cheap, both from the inside and the outside.
