This is a great transparent TPU keyboard protector/cover that perfectly fits the MacBook Air M2. There's a cut out around the finger print reader button, but otherwise it covers everything. It fits exactly around the keys so is very secure and doesn't move around when you type. The texture is a fined matted finish and feels good to type on (of course, compared to the plain keyboard without any covers it will be a bit worse). However the matte finish also means the keyboard will appear slightly whiter than without the protector.Compared to another silicone protector I've gotten in the past, I much prefer the TPU one. The TPU is a lot thinner and feels like it's not really there, whereas the silicone one has a bit more thickness, making the typing experience feel a bit spongier. The thickness means that when you close your Macbook the keys are more likely to press against the screen and leave an imprint. The edges of the key contours on the TPU one are more smoothed whereas the silicone one is more stepped/sharp. The silicone one collects a lot of dust, whereas the TPU one maintains a much cleaner look. The silicone one is more sticky underneath and will better adhere to the keyboard, but I've not had any issues with the TPU falling off so far.
