I needed this to stick an ethernet cable from the router to my room. My floor is pvc. It holds very well even on a busy floor. I had to use three layers to hold it strong enough but it is doable. Careful as the adhesive is not as strong as they claim and will come off if surface is even slightly uneven.

Great stuff - I've used it for all sorts of odd jobs over the past couple of years, and it has never let me down. Sticky, strong yet easy to rip pieces off, if they have duct tape in heaven then this is the type they'll have.My most recent use has been taping cables to the underside of a desk (they've held well for the past few days), and taping some cotton fabric to a painted wall (also held well). I have now run out so need to get some more, but I must say the current £6.49 pricetag seems a bit exorbitant compared tot he £3 I paid for it a couple of years ago, so will probably looking elsewhere.

This is one of the better versions of this material I have ever used.I have mostly used the original silver version but had occasionally used the clear and black versions where appropriate with similar success. The brands have varied as I tend to buy when and where convenient, but I don't believe that UniBond had previously featured. Results from some of UniBond adhesives have been variable but this appears to be on a par with the best.Very strong fabric with an excellent adhesive, it has solved a variety of problems from repairing leaks in hoses and piping, sealing holes in metal and plastic containers and, in one instance, fixing a leaky aquarium until it could be replaced.As with many similar materials, it can keep liquids in or out as needed, but it does not like being submerged.
