Unior URT659 Freewheel Remover - Zwart

The Unior tool has a long reach, useful when the lockring sits far away from the end of the axle. It worked for me when a couple of other tools, Park Tool FR-5 and Birzman, were too shallow. Moreover, it is easy to use with a torque wrench, to get the recommended locking torque, again unlike Park Tool FR-5.

I recently got a new Shimano wheelset and needed to install direct drive rotors. The front wheel installed fine with my current Shimano cassette tool. Needed to buy this tool to install the rear due to the larger cones and current cassette tool did not fit. This fit over the top of the larger cone with no problem! Durable tool and will be a new staple in my toolbox.

I needed a DEEP socket to over the on-removable axle which is part of the rear hub motor on my Orbea Gain 20 e-bicycle. It works perfect for my needs.

Must remove lock nut before use.
