The thermocouple clamp (the copper bits before the wire, where it is clamped from the sensor ) are often craply cramped (a main reason for these sensor failures) - make sure yours is clamped correctly and the wire isn't loose - many times you can just re-crimp these and they'll be fine. TLDR; crap clamping to the wires makes these bought a lot - check the crimping.
