Only lasted a couple months. Started to leak where the wire goes into the body and i lost my brakes.

This is exactly what I needed to replace the terrible mechanical brake switch on my Ducati Desert Sled.With a little soldering and about 1 hours worth of work, I now can forget about the brake switch failing on me again and ride safely!Fits the Brembo master cylinder perfectly!

J'ai installé cette switch sur mon KTM 450 EXC pour pouvoir faire allumer ma lumière de frein. Ça a bien fonctionné un été, mais l'année d'ensuite, l'huile s'est mise à suinter sous le capuchon de caoutchouc autour des fils (pas par les seals) et elle allume de façon très aléatoire. C'est une switch de qualité très douteuse.

I installed these on my GasGas EC300. I was concerned at first that they may not fit because the threads are 4-5mm longer than the stock bolt these replace, but they did fit without modification.Unfortunately, the quality of the switch seems to be pretty poor. The first switch I installed I noticed the wires coming out of the top of the switch had the insulation cracked where it was potted into the body of the switch. So, i just filled the rubber cap with dielectric grease and hoped for the best. About an hour into my first ride I noticed the brake light was no longer coming on.So far the second switch is still working, but who knows how long that will last. The wires looked better on the second switch, so maybe it will be OK.
