This GPU support bracket does a solid job of keeping long, heavy graphics cards stable, which helps protect the motherboard from stress or damage over time. It’s easy to adjust and doesn’t get in the way of airflow, making it a useful addition if your setup includes a bulkier card.

Unfortunately, while the thought was there, the end result was disappointing. The box came with a well-presented set of components, including a small spirit level, but no instructions. The problems arose when trying to install it. In my case, I found that the upright support rod was far too long, so I had to position it right at the edge of my case support, which was then unsecured.I persevered but then got unstuck when testing that the GPU was level. Unfortunately, the air bubble in the spirit level is too small, so you can't actually get the GPU level. The idea is that the GPU is level when each end of the bubble touches the lines. In this one, the bubble is about 1/4 the size of the gap between the lines, so you have no clear way of knowing if your GPU is actually level.I disassembled this item and went back to my 3d-printed screw support. GPU's are heavy as f.......rocks these days, so having a support bracket isn't a bad idea. This one is a slightly odd beast - the general idea is that you screw the base to a fan (or where a fan could go) in your chassis and elevate the support to the card, securing it so that it doesn't sag.In the box you get lots of bits but no manual or leaflet to show how to build it. Having said that, it's not too difficult with a screw that slides into the base which you can tighten by rotating the rod into it (there's a screw hole on one end of the rod) and then sliding the brace and securing it. It also has the screws to affix the base of the fan/case and a spirit level to place on the graphics card to assist in ensuring it's not pushed too high and not adding pressure to the slot.If you don't have a case that has the ability to put fans in the base, then this won't help you specifically (for example, a Phanteks case I have can't use this, but the Lian-Li case I have can) but it's a simple solution for those who have fans fitted and need a GPU brace to lift the card with minimum fuss and minimum impact). It just loses a point for the lack of instructions purely because it probably should.
