War klassisch Skeptisch weil mein "Vorurteil" Ware aus Fernost ist wahrscheinlich nicht wertiges aber das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Macht ein hochwertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Wer Handwerklich begabt ist baut es in 5min an und der Rest schafft es in 10min😉Ich kann das Produkt empfehlen. Sicherlich gibt es Vor und Nachteile wenn der Kindersitz vorne ist aber mein Sohn(4) ist begeistert frei Sicht nach vorne zu haben. Man fährt natürlich etwa "breitbeinig" ist nicht von großer Bedeutung so lange man keine Rennen fährt.Verpackung war Erstklassig, Lieferung schnell!

Funcional

I had a low expectation of this product but so far (3 weeks) it is working quite well. Am using this on a foldable bicycle (Dahon Mariner d8) to ferry my 6 year old kid to and back from school.

We all absolutely love this seat! I use it with my average sized almost four year old grandson on my e-bike. I was worried it wouldn’t fit because my bike has no crossbar and because the battery is right where the child seat frame needs to be attached. It fits perfectly and we didn’t have to Gerry-rig anything at all. I even figured out how to charge my battery without having to take the seat or the battery off the bike. My grandson has his own routine of opening and closing the foot rests when we start and finish, and can climb up on his own using the bike pedal and footrests. I’m about 5’7” with average to bigger length and width sized legs. I lowered my seat a bit so that I could be a bit more secure when we stop and even with that, it’s very comfortable to ride. My legs brush my grandson’s a tiny bit but not much. I do not find he inhibits my steering at all, even on tight corners. When my sons ride with him, they have to open their legs because they are over six feet and have bigger legs. Some might say this seat lacks security because there are no harnesses or guards of any kind. What I find is that the child is more of a participant in the ride because they need to be aware of their body and use it for balancing on the seat, staying firm on the footrests and for holding the hand rail (which is perfectly placed and which he holds on the sides just to be sure his hands don’t get pinched by my handlebars when we turn). I am sure my grandson likes feeling he’s riding too in a way. I ride on dirt rural roads with slow and little traffic. If you wanted more security in a bike seat for city riding, maybe you’d want a different seat but I’m not sure if any seat would actually provide security from a road accident. Either way, you’re on a bike, not in a car.Five stars for a brilliantly designed child seat! I would absolutely buy it again, and again!
