  • Zoek de filtermaat van je lens (in mm) bij het Ø-symbool op de lens of achterkant van de lensdop. Je kunt de maat ook op de lensdop vinden of online zoeken met je lensmodel, bijvoorbeeld "Canon EF 24mm f1.4L USM II filtermaat" voor 77 mm.

  • Urth heeft twee series: Urth (standaard) met Japans AGC-glas en een 8-laagse nano-coating, en Urth Plus+ (professioneel) met Duits SCHOTT-glas en een 20-laagse nano-coating (30 lagen voor UV Plus+).

  • Ja, onze filters zijn dubbelzijdig gegroefd voor stapelen. Voor de beste beeldkwaliteit gebruik je echter slechts één filter tegelijk, omdat stapelen vignetering kan veroorzaken. Vermijd het stapelen van meer dan twee filters.

  • Variabel ND: Goed voor veranderend licht.

    Vast ND: Beste voor controle.

    Hogere ND-nummers beperken meer licht. Gebruik ND64 tot ND1000 voor heldere omstandigheden of zijdezachte effecten. ND64 is veelzijdig.

  • Voor groothoek- en telelenzen raden we onze Variabele ND2-32, ND8-128 of vaste ND-filters aan om een x-cross effect in je foto's te vermijden.

I bought this to use with an R5 and a RF 85mm 1.2. On their own, this combo is extremely sharp wide open so I shoot at f/1.2 all of the time.My Canon EF to RD ND adapter has spoiled me since there's no noticeable IQ degradation or shift in color (unless you go past the intended max and it's still sharp but with color shift). But of course, I can't use the adapter with a native RF lens so I had to get a filter.I considered getting a B+W filter but their solutions are fixed ND and if I recall correctly, their variable option doesn't go as high at this filter. I want to be able to shoot at f/1.2 in max sunlight and at x-sync with flash so this seemed to be at the sweet spot at 6 stops reduction as a starting point and 10 stops max.I used it for a shoot the first time and there's not a huge sharpness decrease at f/1.2 but I can tell that it's sharp, but also a bit fuzzy. I stopped using it after about 20 shots because I was worried that the sharpness was a bit off but when reviewing the pictures, it looks fine. I do think I would have to stop down to f/1.4 to get some of the sharpness back and I've only used it at its lowest setting so far so I don't know how well it'll hold up at 10 stops reduction.I'm in between rating this 4 or 5 stars and I give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 5 for now. It's not too expensive for what it is and it beats switching filters mid-shoot.
