Urth Lens Mount Adapter: Geschikt voor de Canon FD Lens en Sony E Camera Body

This adapter is advertised as to use older Sony A mount lenses on Sony E and FE camera's. However it has no motor or drive pin. So lenses without a bould in motor lake SAM, SSD, HSM, USD, wil only work manual focus. Also the model and firmware of your camera may effect what lenses wil work and witch not. Camera's A7 III and A6700 or newer, work fine with this adapter on most lenses with build in motor. Older models like the A7 II wil have problems with most lenses used with an adapter.

I have bought SO MUCH adapters in the past.a. One of them got so stuck on one of my lens that I got to saw it off.b. One of them only worked on my Canon 6D.c. The two last ones I thought worked on my Sony FS7, but only between F8 and F22 because of the length between the focus point of the camera and the edge of the adapter (some older lenses were made for a particular length between those two points).NOW.. this.. I'm gonna buy another one (at least) because I can finally use my Canon FD 55mm 1.2 and my Canon FD 85mm 1.2 on my Sony Fs7, even at F1.2 (but I am probably gonna use them at F2 and over because even if the focus seems good there seems to have lights aberations under it, which I don't mind that much at this point. Those lenses are 40-50 years old and being able to buy quality glasses for 500-1000$ for video use is a bargain).If I was not clear, this is definitively a must buy (at least for the FD to Sony E).They do not use AF, obviously, and are not fast to load onto the camera because of the FD aperture mechanism, BUT I highly recommend you spend the extra cash to get one per old lense you are planning on using it with. You will not regret it, in fact, you might be super excited by the fact that you have more tools in your arsenal.Film, have fun doing it. This product is solid and rocks!*** UPDATE ***I've already bought 2x FD/E-Mount and a M42/E, they are fantastic, currently about to purchase another one for a Contax lense. Buy it (and Urth, don't hesitate to contact me if you think I could be a good brand ambassador, because I now vouch for you, don't change the quality in you products!).
