Just what he needed!

Good product but doesn't fit my trapdoor or my Krag.

This is a nice sling. The leather is not stiff.It looks great on my 1898 Krag. It has a pleasant " new leather" smell. It does seem a bit too long though for the Krag. Maybe the Trap Door Springfield requires a longer sling then the Krag. If this sling were about 8"-12" shorter it would fit the Krag just right. Yet, having said that, I'd still say this is a good sling that should last for years. The long sling makes it great for carrying over the shoulder. The seller has excellent customer service, they went way above and beyond to address an issue I had with the sling. I would not hesitate to buy from them in the future.
