It all started good, everything was working just fine, quick installation, I use two computers for now. Then, one day a year later, one of the monitors stopped getting signal from the KVM. I tried with other cables, no luck, it was the KVM. I managed to ignore this by using direct display port cables to that monitor (since it has two DP inputs) from the two computers. Now, less than two years later, the audio output stopped working for no reason.For the price, you expect it to work a few years with no problem. Not the case.Avoid it at all costs.

I'm using it with 1 monitor and 2 computers...* computer 1: Desktop with nvidia graphics-card displayport video-out* computer 2: Laptop with USB-C (thunderbolt) video-out* monitor: samsung 34" Ultra-wide with display-port in* keyboard: Logitech G710 (has 2 USB plugs)* Mouse: Razer DeathAdderOK first off, dont plan on using the "button-switch extension". Its totally useless and does not send good "button click signals" to the actual device. On the device itself are 4 buttons for switching between the 4-pcs, thats all you need. Those buttons are high quality and work every time. If you use the "button-switch extension" just realize its shoddy and really doesnt work. If youre having issues, ditch it.Besides that, this thing is nearly flawless. I can switch between the two computers in less than 2 seconds. It works nearly 100% of the time. I say that because 1 in 20 times my laptop cannot display on the monitor. All i have todo in that instance is replug the laptop USB-C (thunderbolt) cord and itw orks. It saves the orientation of all the windows on both computers. It's exactly how i left it (when switching).As for cables, the 4 USB cables that come with it are only 3 footers. You may very likely need a 6 footer, so you can find the USB cables on amazon. They are a special USB cable and there only a few options on amazon, but they do exist.And for the extra cables you need to buy yourself (i.e. displayport cables). If you have a non-displayport computer (like USB-C or HDMI), then i highly recommend you get a cable that is Male-to-male (NOT an adapter). Meaning, just buy the exact cable you need for the job (i.e. USB-C to Displayport, or HDMI to displayport). I bought a direct USB-C to display-port cable and it worked! Adapters (female to male) are shoddy sometimes and may result in signal loss or other issues. Do yourself a favor and fork over the $20 for the exact cable you need.Another concern I had was that this device would create some sort of lag or display-frequency issue. It does not. Its able to render at 60hz on my 60hz display-port monitor, and i verified it in settings. Plus i know what 50hz looks like and theres noticable mouse lag, which with this device there is none. I don't know for sure that 144Hz (for example) will be perfect but i suspect it would.The device is well m,ade, solid metal box, no "loose component" sounds inside, or any shoddyness that i can see. It's solid.This one works. What more can i say. Get it, it supports up to 2 monitors and 4 pcs for more expansion down the line. LOVE IT.

Perfect for what I wanted. The easy of pushing one button to switch screen, keyboard and mouse between PC's make this a doddle. Very easy to set up provided you make sure your cables are connected properly. I made the mistake of connecting to display output cables into the PC 4 slot due to working with this behind a 49" wide screen and little light. Once I realized my error the KVM worked perfectly.Am really happy that this has made things easier for me, no more switching the screen over and using a lesser KVM switch to change the keyboard and mice over.Once niggle but not a massive one is that the front USB sockets for keyboard and mouse would be better placed at the rear of the using as my current cables come over the top which is a bit awkward.Update 20 April 2025 - The unit didn't switch on this morning. I ordered a new KVM and on testing the new power supply plug on both units, both KVM switched powered up. I'll keep them both now so I have a backup and order a new power plug.

Der Switch für Displayport Anschlüsse kam schnell und gut verpackt bei uns zu Hause an. Da ich mehrere Tage in der Woche von zu Hause aus arbeite, wurde mir der Schreibtisch zu Hause seit geraumer Zeit einfach zu klein. Dieser Switch hier schafft da ganz professionell Abhilfe, ohne dass ich großartig etwas ändern muss. Sehr schön, dass alle Kabel gleich mitgeliefert werden, so kann man gleich mit dem Anschluss und dem Verbinden beginnen.Der Anschluss ist sehr einfach. Die einzelnen Stecker sind am Switch sehr gut beschriftet, so dass es keinerlei Probleme gibt. Wer möchte, kann sich aber auch am Beileger orientieren. Ich habe 2 Rechner mit 2 Monitoren verbunden und die mitgelieferten Kabel verwendet. Meine Geräte wurden sofort erkannt. Ich bin auf schnelle Bilder nicht angewiesen, eine Verzögerung durch das Zwischenschalten des Switches habe ich aber nicht feststellen können.Durch den Switch nutzen nun beide Rechner lediglich eine Maus und eine Tastatur. Somit habe ich auf dem Schreibtisch nun wesentlich mehr Ordnung und eine Menge an Platz gewonnen. Hierfür gibt es USB 3 Anschlüsse. Wer möchte, kann auch seine Kopfhörer oder ein Mikro anschließen.Das wechseln der Rechner geht über die Knöpfe am Switch selbst oder über eine kabelgebundene Fernbedienung. Dadurch konnte ich den Switch unter den Schreibtisch bauen und habe so auch keinen Kabelsalat.Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr gut, die Stecker sind sehr fest und das Gehäuse wirklich stabil. Insgesamt macht der Switch seine Arbeit sehr gut. Mir gefällt auch das hier Display Port Anschlüsse zum Einsatz kommen.Es sollte klar sein, dass dieses Gerät lediglich 4 K bis 60Hz unterstützt. Für meine Zwecke ist das völlig ausreichend, wer aufwendige Spiele spielt, wird wahrscheinlich größere Auflösungen haben wollen.Ich bin zufrieden und vergebe gerne 5 Sterne.
