This is a basic USB-C/DP adapter cable, feels fairly well built and works fine for me - although I was only using it at 1080p/60Hz and was not able to test it at 4K. It should also be noted that for this to work the USB-C port needs to be able to output display data and not all of them do, but that's nothing to do with the cable just an oddity of the USB spec.

This is a very well made USB C to DisplayPort cable, the build quality is very high quality and the cable should last a very long time, the connection was perfect plug and play with instant recognition and considering some of the leads lately that is nothing short of amazing, for the price you are getting a very decent cable.

This USB C to DisplayPort cable is perfect for anyone who needs to connect their USB C-enabled device to a DisplayPort monitor. The 1.8-meter length is perfect for a comfortable setup without being too long or too short. It supports 4K at 60Hz, and the video quality is sharp and clear, with no noticeable lag or flicker during use.I’ve tested this cable with my MacBook Pro and my Dell Latitude laptop, and both devices recognised the connection immediately. The build quality is excellent, with a durable aluminium alloy shell for the connectors. For the most part the connectors are aluminium but the ends of them where they meet the cable are plastic. This plastic moulds onto the cable seamlessly to provide good strain relief and greater durability in general. They have also built a grip into that plastic part of the connector to make it easier to get hold of the connector firmly when you need to remove or insert it. The cable is also flexible, which makes it easy to route around a desk or workspace.One thing that I don't like about this cable is the length of the actual connectors. They just seem to be unusually long at both ends and a bit bulkier than your average connector too. Maybe they have made them that size to accommodate the grip on the connectors or accommodate the smart chips that these cables all have built inside them these days to control the display and transfer parameters between the two devices it connects to. With that said, other similar cables I have in the past also accommodated a grip and also had similar smart chips inside them and I can't remember any of those being this big. I'm guessing they would have made the connector smaller if they could have done, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and not marking them down for that, especially seeing that everything else about the cable is excellent, including the price.

I have a dell laptop for work, this only has 1 HDMI port which leaves me with only being able to connect to 1 monitor, but this USB C to DP adaptor now means I can utalise one of the laptops USB C ports to use a 2nd monitor, and it does this perfectly, good clear picture and with no lag, that I can see.I would certainly recommend this for sure.
