I was looking for something billed as a battery powered shower light, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. At the time this didn't have many reviews outside the Vine program, so I was a little skeptical, but purchased one. After unboxing it and playing with it for a minute I decided I liked it enough to purchase a secondI'm using two of these above a shower in a bathroom that only has lights along the vanity at the other end. I haven't stress tested it to see how water resistant it is, but they've been in the shower for weeks now without issue. They're bright enough to help tell my brain it's time to get up if I'm showering before the sun is up. I leave them on motion sensing, but I only turn them on when showering otherwise I turn them off. The same infrared remote control is used for both, so I can use just one and I have a spare. I charged them both when I got them and haven't needed to recharge them yet after several weeks, so they're pretty efficient and the battery is big enough. You install the base with the included screws (they include screws, drywall anchors, and a charging cable) and twist to secure the light or to remove it for charging.
