I have 2 of these and use them on stationary tripods to quickly move the camera around when doing video things. Never had an issue. They click really well and have a lock thingy. Wouldn't trust them to work upside down but that's probably mostly because I am paranoid as all hell. I use them with my Sony A7II with various lenses. Pretty light setup.

Ce système est une variante ( copie ) d’un système plus cher, cependant il n’est pas aussi efficace.Le clic est bon mais il faut vérifier que la sécurité soit bien mise, sinon c’est le drame un boîtier qui tombe de 1.20/1.50 c’est dead !Donc prudence sur la sécurité une fois en place

This transformed my super light aluminium tripod. It weighs with this attached about 600g and fits inside a small backpack. That's a cheap Chinese tripod that came from my Celestron Travelscope 80 telescope. This mount is all metal, very sturdy, the lock works very well, it's very easy to mount to camera and tripod and use. I highly recommend it!
