Utopia Crafts Perfect macramé koord 3mm - 200g (zwart)

As far as macrame goes, this is a solid offering from Utopia. I ordered the black one which has a lovely rich colour and they also provide 9 other colours to choose from red to beige. The cord feels durable with its 85% cotton and 15% polyester blend and is lovely to work with thanks to its 3mm width.In terms of value, it isn’t amazing considering each unit is 130 meters long (I can get 10 units of cheap 500 meter cable for less), but the quality does help to justify this somewhat so if you have a particular special project you’re working on I would be happy to recommend investing in it.

This polycotton macrame thread is a really nice quality. The cord is a chain knit type and is quite smooth, it knots nicely and the knots hold well. There is a tiny bit of give in it but not stretch. It comes in a centre pull ball making it very easy to use. Nice product and good value.

The cord I have received is exactly as show in the photo. I love that it is eco-friendly and made from recycled cotton and polyester. The cord feels soft and smooth, not rough string-like so it can be used for more projects than decorative macrame. I'm probably using mine to crochet place mats. There are many different cords on the market at a variety of prices. I think this is a fair price at £5.95
