I have just started my project: a gansey for myself, and this yarn is really lovely to work with. It is durable and solid (it will not break when casting on), and super soft and nice at the touch when holding it to your chin’s skin, not scratchy at all, as I find some other yarns. The composition of 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester could not be better for the planet and to assuage my consumer guilt. I will be buying a lot more of this if they have a suitable colour range, so far I like the cream, dark grey and green, and I’ll check out the reds too. The value for money is really unbelievable.Only negative comment is that I followed the advice on the label which recommends using needles 5-6mm, and that was a brief disaster: the fabric was too loose and floppy and I did not like it, it appeared almost as lace.Instead, I used 3.75mm on rib and 4.5mm on the body of my sweater and that was a lot better. But I guess 4mm or 4.25mm for the body would probably have been even better. BEWARE, as that would definitely change the recommended tension.Since I am still knitting my project and I have not yet wet blocked it or washed it (the label recommends 30 degree wash), I really have no way of knowing how it will looks after several washes, but since it is already recycled, I hope it will stand well to being washed regularly.

Ho apprezzato tantissimo il concetto di usare una fibra riciclata. L'impatto ambientale del cotone non è trascurabile ed è giusto pensarci.Inoltre il prezzo è senz'altro invitante.Il filato si lavora bene, tuttavia i fili tendono leggermente a separarsi e il risultato finale è un pochino ruvido e rigido.Si può ovviare in parte usando un ferro di misura leggermente superiore a quella prevista in modo da rendere la trama del lavoro meno affastellata.Il color petrolio è bellissimo e lavandolo con il programma delicati non ha stinto.Per capi di abbigliamento c'è di meglio, ma lo trovo ottimo per accessori a cui dare una texture un po' rustica.In particolare è un filato ottimo per principianti in quanto non è scivoloso e si possono fare tante prove a basso costo.

La laine est plus claire que sur la photo donc la couleur est pas exacte mais sinon bonne qualité et le poids et la quantité sont respectés.

Nulla da dire sulla spedizione, come al solito precisa e assolutamente puntuale. Il filato è scadente, duro al tatto, si lavora male, si scompone nei singoli fili , e spelucchia, rendendo poco scorrevole la lavorazione.
