I used this to replace the vacuum pump from my cheap 100 euro desoldering iron, from which the original pump was end of life. This one uses only the have of the power, the suction is better than the original one ever was. So i'm very happy what this small pump offers to me.The only remark is that the vibrations are stronger, so more noise.(tip: I just used foam tape to fix it inside. It holds and reduces the vibrations and sound a little)
