Got under my car in the parking lot, held the top tab up while pushing the old sensor from the inside. Disconnected the cable, connected the new sensor, popped the new sensor in and tested it. Works perfect and I can use my backup camera again.0 tools required. Make sure you buy the proper shape of sensor - this one is for the outer sensors. There is another for the "inner" sensors (the ones towards the middle of the car)

Front grill sensor went out and replaced it with one of these from amazon. Pain in the butt to take off covers to reach old one, but once in, easy remove and replace. Disconnect the battery before starting the job. Yes both terminals. Dont put anything back together until you test it out.
