Het boek is voorzien van veel foto's en laat stap voor stap zien hoe het gewenste resultaat bereikt kan worden. Er worden op duidelijke wijze tip en trucs uitgelegd om tot een zo realistisch mogelijk resultaat te komen. Zeker een aanrader voor airbrushers die Vallejo acrylverf gebruiken.

The book arrived earlier than expected and was filled with important tips on how to airbrush and weather models, especially armor models. However, being a book series by Vallejo, it cannot be helped that almost everything used in by the author (primer, paints, washes, etc) was a Vallejo product. But looking beyond this, the tips were very useful.

After forty years of model making, I decided to improve by learning how to do airbrushing and weathering. After many clips on each on You Tube, which were great but hard to instantly access, I finally ordered the above book.It turned out to be ten times better than any other model book I had bought! This one covers everything in very fine detail, making it easy for even an absolute beginner like myself to follow. First thing it showed me was that a compressor that you can lower and raise the pressure is essential. NOT the low/medium/high setting on mine, which had caused me so much difficulty when trying an airbrush for the first time! (I didn't even think of applying a primer coat!).Although heavily, if not exclusively, focused on Vallejo products, I found that is good thing in that it focused my mind on what I do and will need in future! No more buying a maize of products like Vallejo, Tamiya, Ak and on and on! I was wasting both time and money trying to find the best one!So, in summary, this was worth every penny, and, at the moment, it feels like I will never need more instruction than this book has provided. Fully deserves its five stars!

The book at the bottom is tore apart at the corner. When open up the book center string like tore apart and it will not last long .Pleasantly surprised that Amazon ship this type of quality item sad to say . I am disappointed with the delivery service slow and not providing good service .

This book is an outstanding step-by-step tutorial for military modellers who want to learn techniques for weathering and detailing their models. By vehicle examples all steps are illustrated from priming to chipping and weathering these models (e.g. German grey, German camouflage patterns). There are also chapters which demonstrate painting/weathering tracks and buildings as well as special effects for dioramas like creating snow, mud or water puddles.A great and fully colored illustrated magazine which helps to improve my scale models.

I libri sui lavaggi ed invecchiamento sono solo in inglese. Questo è un libro molto bello con molte immagini che aiutano a capire i lavaggi. Nota dolente è in inglese e bisogna tradurlo. Consigliato ai modellisti.
