Vandoren Alt Saxofoon riet V 16 Gauge: 4

I got sold crappy fake vandoren V16's from the seller Charles and Mary online. These reeds didn't come in the humidity sealed package, the box was too dark of a green, they didn't have the serial number on each reed (Older vandorens and sample vandorens from the sample pack don't have this, but still), the logo on the bottom was stamped on instead of branded in, and the wood was grey in some areas on the butt of the reed. All of these factors make me think these reeds were fake, I have had real ones and they deserve a 5 star rating, these only got the second star because, for fakes, they didn't play that bad. Make sure you buy directly from amazon if you want the real thing, this advice should be used for all amazon products, except maybe single MTG cards or video games.

v16s are the best reeds, i have only fully gone through 1 since buying these 6 months ago
