Excellent light weight rest. As CL stated there is a screw that sticks out through the rest. However, you can overcome this by placing two metal spacers or washers under the rest before you screw the legs into the rest and then I placed a felt pad over the hole where the screw goes. Works. The other option is to shorten the screw. I don’t know why Vanguard does not shorten the screw as it is not necessary to have it this long. They can do it easily. Otherwise it’s great!The Rest will take my Protektor pad instead of the one supplied by Vanguard. It is a better quality but a wee bit heavier because of the different filling, however, it is the same size. Highly recommended!
