Vanilla Superfood Creamer

After realizing the awful chemicals in the name brand powder creamers (and even their liquid counterparts) I searched for something I could use instead with my non-coffee alternative hot drink (for digestion). I found Laird. It's all natural and made with coconut powder and coconut sugar. That's it. It blends very well. I put the teaspoon of powder in the mug with my alternative powder and then pour my hot water over it, and mix. No problems with clumps etc.The storage does have some clumping. The bag is a zip lock but I also transferred to a glass jar once opened. Because there are no preservatives you will have small clumps, but properly stored, they easily break up with your spoon or small whisk. The color will turn something dark into a caramel color. The taste is subtle, but definitely has a coconut taste, but not overpowering. If you do not like coconut flavor or are allergic, DO NOT USE THIS. It does have other flavors but I'm not done using the vanilla yet, but I have to say, I don't taste much vanilla flavor.

Vanilla flavor is very subtle and not very sweet.

The powder adds some smoothness and flavor to coffee, but it's minimal. It's too much, and not a good taste, if you add more powder for a stronger vanilla flavor. I've found a good in between is to use only a teaspoon of the powder, not a tablespoon, and definitely not two tablespoons, for 8 ounces of coffee for some smoothness, and a little bit of flavor, then add a small amount of vanilla flavored liquid coconut milk creamer/milk, to boost the flavor, and take any bitterness out of the coffee.Also, if you put the powder in a cup first before adding hot water/coffee, the powder fully dissolves, so no blending or a frothing device is needed.Finally, the bag closes with velcro-like strips, do it's not really airtight. I did the same thing as another reviewer, and put the powder bag into a larger ziplock bag, to keep freshness in, and bugs out.

Cost to much for a little amount

I bought the vanilla flavor & sweet/creamy flavor. I was hoping the vanilla flavor would taste good in my coffee, but I didn’t like it. I thought there was a weird taste to it. It’s a non-returnable item. I did receive a refund on the vanilla flavor. I like the sweet & creamy much better & will prob order another one of the sweet & creamy.
