I was sceptical about ditching my trusty old Bic for an electric lighter. But this rechargeable arc lighter is very good. I wish I had bought this earlier as I spend a lot on the traditional gas lighters. It's so much more convenient, reliable, and safer than traditional lighters. Plus, it's kind of cool to see that electric arc in action!

Leuk ding. Batterij gaat wel iets sneller leeg dan verwacht. Werkt goed, niet duur. Geen gedoe met flesje gas (deed toch niemand) dus beter voor het milieu.

Werkt zoals het moet. Batterij gaat ook lang mee. Werkt nog steeds na een jaar.

Batterij is al direct kapot

I worked beautifully until my wife was using it and it start smoking and got dangerous hot , even too hot to touch.I have thrown it outside. Think about this happened when it was in the kitchen drawer it could set the whole house on fire.This thing is DANGEROUS

It could not create enough powerful ignition necessary to light a tea light. Total Disappointment.

My wife loves wax candles. We probably have about 50 of them throughout the house and ahe lights them all the time. She used to use disposable long-neck flame lighters and would complain about them running out of fluid.I gave her one of these rechargeable arc lighters and she absolutely loves it. Whenever she uses it, she tells me how much she likes it. And she uses it a lot.It lights the wicks quickly (faster than a flame lighter) and has a decent run time before it needs to be recharged. When it comes to recharge time, only takes about an hour to get it back from almost dead to 100%. I use a USB port charger (not a wall outlet).Having the flexible neck works great for getting down into narrow candles close to the end of the wick.She’s had it for about 8 months now and it’s still going strong. The only question I have is how long the two arc contacts will last. I also notice some kind of build up at the tip but I don’t want to clean it in fear I will damage the contacts. My resolution is that I bought her another one to give her if/when this one eventually dies.Definitely a great buy.
