I find the colour in real life to be a little darker brown than in the photo. It's also larger than expected. The measurements are in the description, so it's a good idea to follow those instead of the photo that makes it look smaller and neater than it is. I would have appreciated if the cloth on the inside followed the brown on the outside, but it's black. In fact, I would have preferred this address book in another, brighter colour, e.g. red. With all these things said, it is nevertheless a well-made address book, quality work, and you can buy additional address pages to insert. All in all, I don't love it but I do I like it very much.
