Ik heb deze M2 case bestelt omdat er een ventilator in zit. Deze werkt ook hoorbaar maar niet storend. De M2 is te plaatsen zonder gereedschap, het deksel van deze case is magnetisch. Na een paar uur video montage zette ik mijn Macbook Air M2 weer aan maar werd de disk niet gezien. Ik heb geprobeerd de disk aan te sluiten als de Macbook al aan stond maar ook aangesloten als de Macbook helemaal uit was. Ook een andere kabel werkte niet. De ventilator gaat draaien maar de disk verschijnt niet meer. Erg jammer het is een mooie en degelijke case. Toch nog 2 sterren gegeven voor het design.Update: Nadat ik mijn case had teruggestuurd nam de verkoper contact met mij op en heeft nog een case gestuurd die een dag later al binnen was. We hebben meerdere keren mail contact gehad. Er was wel iets fout gegaan met mij ln SSD maar nadat ik de SSD geformeerd heb is de SSD weer zichtbaar. Ik ben nu aan het testen of het allemaal stabiel blijft. Goede en snelle service van Vention. Nu nog even afwachten of het blijft werken.Update 2 de case werkt nog steeds goed. Ik merk wel dat de ventilator ietsje luider is dan in het begin.

Il case è solido di una buona lega di alluminio, abbastanza pesante da l'idea di solidità, il coperchio ha una chiusura in parte magnetica in parte meccanica che lo rende difficile da aprire ma allo stesso tempo non lo tiene fermo ma lo stesso si muove di qualche frazione di millimetro, l'ho accoppiato ad un WD_black da 1 tera la velocità massima che ho rilevato su Macbook Pro M1 con il cavetto in dotazione è di 3150MB/s in scrittura e di 3035MB/s in lettura, l'enclosure scalda un pò ma ha una ventola per tenere le temperature sotto controllo purtroppo proprio questa è un pò rumorosa. paired with a slightly slower and older m2 drive this makes for an excellent option for portable external storage on the go.the build quality is decent and quick and simple installation and broad compatibility make this an excellent choice for most uses,performance is limited a little but should still be punchy enough for most common uses that aren't transferring gigantic amounts of data at a time.it's very well made and affordable so if you're on the look out for a decent workhorse option for day to day duties this is worth a look i think.

Cable seems to be limited in terms of data transfer. Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max didn't recognise the enclosure using the supplied cable so I wonder if mine was a dud. Drive did stay cool (albeit using an additional heat spreader I had used previously which still allowed the drive to fit inside the enclosure.Managed to get the Samsung Evo 500GB drive I use to test these enclosures to operate at 5Gbps speeds using a USBA-C cable but haven't managed the USB-C to C cable to fully test the claimed 10 Gbps.Need to see if I can find another USB-C C cable and will update this review with my Crystal Diskmark screenshots if I can get the 10Gbps.UPDATE: didn't quite complete the Crystal Disk Mark but got close to the 10 Gbps... think I need to reformat and try again
