The construction isn't good. The stick is so tight in the USB port that the cap comes off when you try to remove it. You always need to bring a pair of pliers if you want to use this very compact stick. So that is not very compact.

Op USB 3.0 snelheid werkt deze niet en loopt vast wanneer je er bestanden naar probeert te schrijven, alleen in een USB 2.0 poort werkt de stick goed. Het blauwe kapje brak al de eerste keer af bij het verwijderen van de stick uit de USB-poort. Deze zelf maar weer vastgelijmd. De snelheid maakt mij in dit geval niet uit omdat ik hem voor veel muziekopslag gebruik in de auto waar hij prima voldoet omdat hij zo mooi klein is.

Oké, de 16 GB doet het en ik kon er een opstartmedium voor een image backup van maken.Dit is het positieve nieuws.Maar de passing in de USB is ronduit slecht.Ik moest de stick er met een tang uithalen waarbij de cover losliet.Zal 'm met een verlengsnoertje gaan gebruiken want de verpakking moet geruïneerd worden voor het te gebruiken is.

Achteraf denk je 'ik had het moeten weten', want er waren nog negatieve recensies. Om te beginnen is de maat van de usb-aansluiting niet perfect: de stick klemt in een usb-poort. Slechte start. Maar dat is slechts het begin: zodra de stick in de poort zit, gaat de pc haperen. En neen, het ligt niet aan de pc, want een test op de laptop geeft exact hetzelfde resultaat. En tenslotte wordt het ding heel erg heet. Niet mee aan te vangen, dus. Die gaat terug. Gelukkig gaat dat vlot bij Amazon.

Bought four of the 4GB size of these two years ago. I use them to play MP3 files on the stereo system in my car. Great for those units with a front USB port. A regular memory stick is very easy to bump and damage because it sticks out from the front of the unit. These are so inconspicuous most people don't even notice they're there. Also there are no flashing lights to distract and annoy you on night drives with the dash lights turned way down.A couple of reviewers have said these failed. Not so for me. I don't baby them! They're stored in a plastic 35mm film canister (remember those?) in the console. Subject to serious temperature extremes...and constantly being rattled around against each other. After two years of that treatment they still work fine and I expect they'll continue. One of them actually went through the laundry when I left it in the pocket of my jeans. Found it in there a couple of weeks later when that pair came up in the rotation. Still works!Some other reviewers claim slow read/write speeds. Not so. I haven't run specific tests, but the read/write times seem more or less the same as all the other USB 2.0 storage devices I use on my computers. And that's really the issue. They're USB 2.0 *not* 3.0. If fast read/write times are that critical bite the bullet and upgrade your hardware.

It is cute small, very nice usb drive. fast and works great. works great for small area or system usb drive such as unraid.
