Nachdem ich hier schon einige Eis/Hitzeschutz Scheibenabdeckungen testen durfte, wollte ich mir dieses natürlich nicht entgehen lassen, da ich mir vor 2 Monaten einen Ford Transit als Angelcamper geholt hab.Die Passgenauigkeit sieht nicht nur auf den Bildern gut aus, sondern fällt auch im realen sehr gut aus. Da Ford den Transit relativ gleich gehalten hat, was die Karosserie und Windschutzscheibe angeht, kann man diese Abdeckung bedenkenlos für die Modelle von 2012 - 2020 nutzen.Wie der Kälteschutz ist, kann ich leider noch nicht sagen, jedoch ist der Wärmeschutz vor allem für Camper und Angler sehr vorteilhaft, da der Bus oft in der prallen Sonne steht. Das Schützt auch die Armaturen, da Ford ja in dem Modell relativ viel Kunststoff verbaut hat um den Bus bezahlbar zu machen.Einzig mit dem Preis bin ich nicht ganz einverstanden, da er mir für das Modell einfach zu hoch erscheint. Ich bin gelernter Kaufmann und weiß, dass Ford Transit ein sehr geläufiges Fahrzeug ist und in der Anschaffung relativ wenig kostet. Somit sind die meisten Fahrer eher sparsamer oder sehen das Fahrzeug eher als Nutzobjekt und grundsätzlich heißt es ja die Nachfrage regelt den Preis. Wenn man ein seltenes Fahrzeug hat, dann kann so eine Matte gerne mal 50 Euro kosten, doch bei so einem gängigem Modell denke ich, dass der Verkäufer / Hersteller über einen niedrigeren Preis deutlich mehr an der Stückzahl verkaufen kann und so deutlich mehr und vor allem schneller Gewinn erwirtschaften kann. Aber das ist nur meine Meinung.Wer also einen Ford Transit besitzt und dem das Geld nicht zu schade ist, der wird hier zufrieden sein. Für andere Modelle gibt es sicher kostengünstigere alternativen.

Good coverage and easy to put on and take off. Offers good frost protection. Sides fold and held by door frame. Only downside is that it does not dry off quickly after removal from windscreen.

I ordered this sun and frost shield from the Amazon brand JOJOCY. The cover is of an odd but effective manufacture. Padded with several layers and feeling somewhat thick and substantial, the external surface of the shield is an almost holographic grid of matalicised and patterned squares. It feels like a quality item, and it's certainly reflective - I've bought similar fabrics to ward of pigeons! One side of the fabric is metallic and shiny; the reverse is black and matte.THe cover affixes to the van by tucking it around the mirrors and trapping it between the doors on either side. It's further secured by magnets which grip the bodywork. It feels secure; in so much as it's unlikely to fall off. However (and this is a little bit of an issue with a £35.99 item) I'm not sure how tightly the grip would hold if someone was determined to rip it out. I do wonder if this is one of those things a person should buy a cheap version of, in case it goes walkies and regularly needs replaced.For the most part I've found this to be a really good, useful item. We haven't had much sunshine just yet to test its thermal qualities against the hottest of suns, but it's provided a markedly cooler environment on warm spring days. Wet days are not so much fun. however. The cover remained wet for a long time after a soaking, and with no carrybag etc ( maybe just as well or it may be stored wet and forgotten) it was driven around all day as a wet bundle in the back - and reattached that evening as a wet cover over the shield. Luckily the second night was rain-free giving it a chance to dry out.On the whole, I think this is a substantail item which does a professional job; but its thickness and obvious quality does make it a bit of a target.Four stars
