I followed the directions carefully. The first time I painted them, I wore them two days after I finished them. The finish was coming off before I walked out the door. I thought perhaps that I hadn’t let it dry long enough so I cleaned first coat off, redyed them and left it for a week. As you can see, it still comes off easily. Disappointed!

I’ve been on the hunt for some black heeled sandals for over a year, found a style on sale that I liked but they were brown so took a gamble and bought this dye and I’m so glad I did! I found the process really easy, I gave them a once over with the prepper and then did 2 coats of the dye. These shoes had a coating on them, not patent but not matte leather so I wasn’t sure how it would take but I think they look great. I do recommend wearing an old T shirt and some gloves but I wouldn’t say the process was particularly messy or difficult and I’d say each shoe took less than 5 minutes. I did use a fine paintbrush to get in to the nooks but the sponge that was included worked well. I probably used 1/3 of the bottle doing these and would absolutely use it again.

Ich bekam vom Weihnachtsmann mein langersehntes Wunsch-Portemonnaie geschenkt, stand dann aber leicht unter Schock, als ich es aufklappte und die Innenfarbe sah 😱🤢. Nach tagelangem Überlegen, was ich denn nun mache, entschied ich mich, es umzufärben. Nach kurzer Suche entschied ich mich dann für 'Kaps', nicht nur wegen des unfassbar guten Preises, sondern aufgrund der vielen guten Rezensionen und - für mich noch wichtiger als das Geschriebene - die Vorher-Nachher-Bilder. Also gekauft und der Lieferung entgegengefiebert. Ausgerechnet dieses Mal hat Prime etwas länger gedauert, aber ich habs überlegt 😅. Nach Erhalt hab ich doch noch einige Stunden gezögert, denn der Preis des Portemonnaies war schließlich nicht ohne 🙈. Ich entschied mich daher, die Farbe erstmal nur am Zipper auszuprobieren, sollte es nicht oder unvollständig decken, wäre es dort nicht sooo schlimm. Also tiiieeef Luft geholt und den Zipper 2x angepinselt - und war sofort hellauf begeistert! Volle Deckkraft und der anfänglich leichte Glanz war nach ca. 10 Minuten gänzlich verschwunden, sodass es perfekt mit dem Äußeren harmonierte. Somit hieß es dann, Handschuhe an, Pinsel gegen Schwämmchen getauscht und los gings. Zuerst hab ich den Preparer aufgetan und ca. 1 Stunde gewartet, bis es richtig tief eingezogen war, dann kam der "Hauptakt". Die Farbe ließ sich super verarbeiten, ist seeeeehr ergiebig, farbintensiv und von der Konsistenz optimal - keine Tropfen oder anschließendes verlaufen! Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Schwämmchen 3x über die Flächen gegangen; 2x hätte es aber definitiv auch schon getan. Ich empfehle, dies zügig und in einem Rutsch - also ohne abzusetzen oder hin- und herzureiben - zu tun, sonst gibt es Streifen oder man sieht, wo man abgesetzt hat! Das Ergebnis ist einfach nur perfekt geworden, ich hab das Portemonnaie vorher schon geliebt, aber jetzt ist es einfach nur unfassbar perfekt für mich 😍🥰. Nach ein paar Stunden habe ich es dann noch (vorsichtshalber) gegen Schmutz, Fettflecke, Nässe imprägniert (ich kenne mich ja 😄), daher 'glänzt' es jetzt ein klein wenig mehr. Also Leute, traut Euch, man kann wirklich nix verkehrt machen, wie man anhand der Bilder sehen kann 🤗.

Lo compré para teñir unos botines de ante marrón en negro y es bastante cubriente con dos capas. Seca pronto y es muy resistente al uso. Están como nuevos. Me sobró y le di un repaso a unas botas altas negras de piel. Quedan preciosas. Color negro vivo. Aún me sobra. Lo malo es que la esponjita y el pincel no son de muy buena calidad, pero me sirvieron perfectamente.
