It is perfect for drawing and reading. It is very sturdy but very light. It has tons of different ways you can use it by positioning the legs in different ways, I am able to use it for reading in bed at an angle, then change the angle to flat to rest a meal on, or raise it higher and put on a table to stand up to draw and paint, and then reduce the height and use it while sitting at a table, I love this thing! Until you get used to how to move the joints you may find it confusing, but after using it for a few hours in different positions described above I am now able to easily adjust it. The rubber lip that fits onto the front is really helpful, it makes it comfortable to rest my arm on when drawing, and it is wide enough to hold my books in place or rest pencils on.

I love this stand. I bought it because of my neck arthritis. It's adjustable so I can use it on my coach, bed, table or recliner. The legs adjust so your book can be at eye level. It hold's heavy concordances and bibles. You can use it for small paperback novels but you have to hold the pages open, there are no clips to hold it in place. I did not want those anyway. However, with the heavy books it's hand's free reading. There's a ledge to set the book on so it does not slide and you can put your pens on it. Other models didn't have the thick ledge like this one. I've used it for 2 years now and I'm constantly banging or dropping it and it's been holding up. I love it. It's very sturdy and you can fold it and store it. Great for small apartments.

il supporto fatto molto molto bene, tutto curato, per me è facile cambiare la posizione, la costruzione solida e anche leggera abbastanza. Sono molto soddisfatta, finalmente riesco a leggere i libri in comodità totale senza rischi per la salute. Grazie ai costruttori ed anche Amazon per il servizio perfetto!!02/08/2021!!! Dopo qualche mese di utilizzo volevo confermare la qualità buona del prodotto, ma adesso devo togliere una stellina….:- il rialzo di gomma di soft touch lascia sulle pagine sotto un segno di sporco, cioè all’inizio non si nota niente, ma quando arrivi alla fine di lettura lo noti per forza. Mi dispiace molto questo fatto, perché leggo tanto i libri di carta, tratto i libri come fossero i miei figli…Allora per evitare questo disturbo ho cucito la copertina di stoffa e l’ho inserita dentro per bene, così non ci sarà più il pericolo di sporcare il bianco delle pagine.Spero che questa nota aiuti a qualcuno.

I was looking for something to use with my laptop while sitting on the couch or in bed. My initial idea was a cushion-like solution, something to replace a pillow but still you will end up by constantly needing to adjust your position. Then I considered a small stand, like a mini table, but found most options to be either too large or too heavy for my needs.
