We’ve had this for a few months now and we love it!! We used to use a very small coffee/herb grinder to make our rice flour. It served its purpose but we realized how much flour we actually use on a weekly/bi-weekly basis making so much food from scratch. We noticed we needed a bigger size grain mill to process our rice flour. It grinds the rice down in literally no time at all and we don’t usually need to grind it more than once. I can’t speak for other items that people use to make flour as we don’t use wheat, barley etc for our flour. The size of the mill is absolutely perfect for our needs and we don’t have to break down the rice into small batches as you can grind at least a pound of rice at a time. The price wasn’t bad as we purchased the largest size available on this listing and it was also on sale. Not sure what the price is now or if it’s on sale but trust me it definitely worth it if you are trying to go gluten free and want an alternative to all purpose flour & bread flour to make bread, biscuits, cookies, cakes, gravies, etc. It’s so easy to put together and take part and wipe down. I will say don’t ever immerse this in water you want to just wipe it out with a damp to dry cloth or paper towel—then leave the lid off to air dry, replace the lid and it’s ready for the next use. Also, if you are processing large batches of flour you will definitely need to let it rest once you feel the outside of the mill getting warm. If you don’t you will ruin your machine and your flour.

While the first one I received was defective, I will say the second one I received was much better. It's able to grind grain into flour in seconds. It's definitely commercial grade and the build quality is worth it for the asking price. It's very easy to use with just a knob control that has a time. The noise is relatively loud but that is to be expected for something like this.

Very good and fast

I had 2 work w/it 4 a bit b4 getting the hang of it, but it does what it says it would do - grinds things into powder. The only issue I have is that every time I use it stuff poofs out from around the area where the lid meets the unit. At 1st I thought I didn't have the lid attached properly, but that's not the case. Any ideas, from others that have this item, about how I can prevent that from happening? Please & thank u. :-)
