I had to choose between this steerable single camera device with a 1 meter cord and a 3 camera rigid with 5 meter cable. I choose this one. Being able to steer the camera and look around inside a space makes all the difference. Its helps to understand what you are seeing.While a 2-meter cable would have been ideal, the 1-meter length is still sufficient for most inspections. The cord is flexible and will point downwards in mid air. Perfect for maneuvering narrows spaces, less optimal for crossing an open space in a wall.The light sensitivity is good. The light enables to camera to pick up a picture in complete darkness up-to about 40cm away. Be reminded this is beyond the focus point in the camera, but it helps recognizes were you are. I have see far far worse. I was thus pleasantly surprised by the clarity on the images.Than the resolution. In short: it isn't 1080P HD. The paper manual reads the lens (?) has 1 million pixels. Given the recorded video resolution is 1280x720 I suspect the this is indeed the native camera resolution. The stills shot are 1920x1080 but that is just an up-scaled picture.Why does the product page title say: "1080P HD"? And in the description: "The updated large 5" IPS screen delivers crystal clear 1080p HD images and videos with crisp", really? The display is only 854 x 480 as stated further down... how would that be able to display cristal clear 1080p? And why does VEVOR contradict the manual stating "Lens resolution: 1920 x 1080."Making false claims about the resolution harms the product more than the actual usability. I should sent this one back just because of the false claims. However. I have opted to inform you, the future customer, instead by writing this review. The device with its lower resolution is perfectly usable. Images are clear, sharp and the LCD has a great viewing angle.The good:* being able to look around by steering the camera, provides better insight what you are looking at* camera is light sensitive enough to get a picture in a larger fully dark space (10-40cm)The no so good:* The camera resolution is not 1080p. So the resolution is probable only 1280x720.* The video recordings have a 1280x720 resolution 15 frames per secondThe bad:* Lying about resolutionFinal verdict:This camera is perfectly usable even with the lower than advertised resolution. If 1 meter is long enough I would advise this steering camera over a single, dual or triple camera with rigid cable.If the 1080p claim wasn't on the page I would have given it 5 stars.

Ottimo prodotto che funziona veramente bene ottima risoluzione malgrado il diametro contenuto. Purtroppo lo snodo rivestito il tela si impiglia nelle varie asperità presenti... risultato purtroppo: rimasto incastrato nel foro e strappato. Non ho trovato ricambi per poterlo riparare, spero in seguito siano disponibili.

This endoscope is way better than I thought it would be especially for the money. I have used much more expensive professional borescopes and this is at least as good and with the steering camera it is perfect for engine inspection
