1. Sluit de VGA-signaalbron aan op de VGA-ingangsinterface van de opnamekaart
2. De USB-uitgang van de capture-kaart wordt via de USB-kabel aangesloten op de USB-poort van de computer (schijfvrij)
3. Sluit voor audio-invoer het audiosignaal aan op Mic in
4. Open de acquisitiesoftware op de acquisitiecomputer, selecteer het apparaat AFN_Cap video en activeer het. Op dit moment knippert het rode LED-lampje, wat aangeeft dat de signaalacquisitie succesvol is.

Needed this to capture some scientific data off an old recorder with a VGA output. The setup was easy and windows recognised the USB device - then used freeware OBS Studio to capture the output. Device is also powered through the USB cable so no need for an additional power supply. Great little tool for the price.

Tut genau was es soll. Mit verschiedenen vga quellen getestet, funktioniert anstandslos :)

Ich benutze das Teil um Videos von meinem Atari Lynx aufzunehmen ohne viel Kabelgewirr. Dazu taugt das Gerät obwohl es immer mal wieder zu "Aufschlucken" kommt.Ein negativer Punkt ist, das der USB Anschluss nicht Standard ist (USB-A nicht USB-B). Wenn also mal das USB-A auf USB-A Kabel weg ist, kann man nicht einfach in der Kabelkiste eines herausfischen.

I bought this to use as a portable console for servers with VGA outputs so that I don't have to lug a monitor around. Works and comes up as a generic composite / video capture device, no drivers needed, and you can use your Camera app or vlc or whatever as the viewer, you can even use this with an Android phone. But there's no way to find out what particular VGA resolutions it supports, and for some resolutions it doesn't center / auto align the screen and you're left with a partial view, which is a bit "unhelpful" (I'd normally use other words to describe this) if you're using this to install an OS and you can't see one third of the screen where the important controls are. Yes, some OS installerses insist on high and weird resolutions, it's not this converter's fault, but a monitor would have worked, and so should the converter.
