I have been using this stick as a semi-professional performing percussionist and recording artist since 2012. It is an excellent compromise between the speed and control of a 5A and the projection and power of a 5B. The weight balance and taper is ideal for solid rock, funk, blues and pop drumming. It works for most Latin stuff too, although sometimes I find it a hair too heavy for certain Jazz styles. It is not a bad concert snare stick either although it might not be my first choice for that application.The bottom line is if you are left wanting a little more "oomph" than the 5A is providing, but a 5B feels slow and cumbersome in your grip, try this stick. I tried it on a suggestion and have used it consistently for almost 3 years. I recommend it.

Purchased these for my son based on the recommendation of his drums tutor. The sticks are awesome and he loves them.

Ich spiele seit einigen Jahren nun schon und habe über die Zeit den ein oder anderen Stick ausprobiert. Darunter natürlich auch einige Signature-Sticks, z.B. den von Jojo Mayer, Aaron Spears (sehr interessantes Spielgefühl!) etcAber am Ende bin ich immer wieder auf die perfekte Größe, nämlich der Fusion des 5A und 5B zurückgekommen.Der passt einfach.

Was looking long and hard for a replacment stick after my ProMark 300 was changed!!......The 5A was too light and the 5B was a bit too much! these are darn perfect!!!! Great feel and response!! I use them with promark stick rapp!

Buenas baquetas. El acostumbrado acabado y calidad de Vic Firth. Esta medida es un intermedio entre 5A y 5B. Recomendadas.
