These sticks are excellent to build your chops with, they are heavy with a slick body. These sticks also produce a louder, more heavy sound on a snare.

Great sticks for the money. My grandson is hard on sticks but these seem to hold up better than most. They are the perfect size and are comfortable for him to hold.

I've had these sticks for over a year now still haven't broke. These are really durable. I use these for practice in downtime and in the off season. If you want these sticks to last a bit longer you might want to tape them, but regaurdless these sticks are remarkably durable. These were actually my first pair. In the past year I've grown so much not only as a drummer but as a percussionist. These sticks helped me grow from not even being able to form a proper buzz roll to now i can do paradiddles at 180. These sticks are great. Hands down some of my favorite sticks I've ever played with. Vic Firth Nailed it with these.
