I was excited to get this as I have spent many a year wishing I had never got rid of my record player and this music system will play your vinyl’s, your cassette tapes & CD's. You can also connect it to your phone or other devices via Blue Tooth. The Music Centre arrived well packaged & protected and came with instructions, feet, different plugs for different parts of the world and a battery for the clock.Set up was easy & the controls are easy to use. Personally, I love the retro look & this certainly delivers on the style front, very sleek & smart, although on closer inspection the wood surround is not particularly high quality. The first thing I listened to was a CD and found the sound quality to be excellent. Very clean & crisp. Do bear in mind though that the built-in speaker is central, so if you are looking for surround sound you will need to connect to extra speakers (not supplied)Next up was a cassette, this sounded good but not as good as the CD, now this may be down to the age of the tape, but it just didn't have the same level of crispness that the CD did. The cassette player was also a little clunky to use.The bit I was most looking forward to was the record player and this delivered well. For anyone who has Vinyl I am sure you will agree there is something special about listening to music on this format. I happily spent the weekend going through and playing all my records. The sound quality was great, but the player arm was lacking any weight, and this seemed to have an effect of how records with tighter grooves played as they would slip a little. (This only applied to a couple in my collection)Lastly, I connected my phone via Bluetooth & played music through the music centre. As I expected, due to it being a connected device the quality was not as good but perfectly acceptable, think analogue radio quality.Overall, this is a good system, not exceptional as quality varies depending on the format you are playing music on. It is however convenient and offers a lot for a relatively compact unit, so great if you are short on space.

UPDATE: 3 days in - probably used this for about 4-5 hours at this point - the volume knob is already playing up. Basically altering the volume makes crackling sounds half the time - sometimes resulting in no audio at all. I'm presuming this is down to a faulty potentiometer/variable resistor. My original rating for this product was 4 stars and with this fault I would have reduced this to 2 (and would be returning the product if purchased myself). I'm happy to presume this is a one off faulty unit so have gone with 3 stars. The original review follows:Similar to DAB radios from a few years ago - turntables currently seem to be going for that retro aesthetic and this one from Victrola hits hard with its design. When I was growing up my parents had an old record player from the mid-60s that had a very similar vibe to this - effectively a wooden box with fabric covered speakers. The giveaway here is the digital display used for the CD status but otherwise this is quite a striking bit of kit.The limitations of an all-in-one unit become apparent when listening to this though. To be clear - this is by no means bad - there's a decent amount of bass, clarity and the midrange is distinct - but the speaker set up is completely central. It's almost like listening in mono to be honest. It's absolutely fine for having music on in the background but after years of listening to digital audio through good quality speaker systems I can really tell something is missing. Thankfully there are phono plugs on the back for attaching external speakers. The turntable works great. After pulling my vinyl collection from the loft I tried a couple of albums and bathed in the nostalgia(!). I wasn't able to test any 78s though! (Yep - this goes there). An oddity here is that the CD player is on the left SIDE of the music centre and the cassette player is on the right. If you plan on using these often then you'll need to take this into account in terms of clearance for accessing them. I do think having these on the front would have made a lot more sense here. I haven't tested tape playback as yet (I think I may still have some...somewhere...!) but CD playback was excellent. Here playback is operated by the controls on the front of the music centre.Talking of controls - switching modes on this is done by pressing in the volume knob. Press it in and it toggle to the next playback mode in the list. This takes a second or two to swap between each entry which is a little bit of a pain to be honest. This would have made much more sense to have a separate rotary control for switching mode (like a lot of music centres used have in "the olden days").To summarise - you can get round the somewhat limited sound output with speakers and you'll just have to put up with some of the usability factors. But in all honesty what you are paying for here is the aesthetic and they got that perfectly right.

This piece of equipment really looks the part when it comes to the 60s! Love the little clock addition on the black version and the overall look and quality on first impression seems great. The sound for me is ok although it varies depending on what sound function your listening to 👂🏼It’s been a while since we have been able to listen to vinyls, we only have the 12” type anyway in our small selection and there was no issues with these they played with ease and was simple to set up and use.The other functions again (if you still possess cassettes) are great, we’ve managed to try all functions and it’s been a ok, some parts can be a little tough to manoeuvre like the vinyl arm but that’s neither here nor there although my reason for deducting a star ⭐️ but for the multifunction uses and how it performs I do think it’s worthy of 4!

Tis Victrola Century Signature+ music center is a stylish and versatile entertainment system. This retro-inspired turntable boasts a classic design with modern features, making it a great addition to any home. Its 6-in-1 functionality allows you to enjoy music from various sources, including vinyl records, Bluetooth devices, AM/FM radio, CDs, cassettes, and even USB drives. The built-in clock adds a touch of convenience and enhances its vintage aesthetic. The Bluetooth connectivity enables seamless wireless streaming from your smartphone or other compatible devices. The inclusion of multiple playback options ensures compatibility with a wide range of media formats. However, I found the sound quality to be average, particularly when compared to dedicated audiophile-grade turntables.Thank you for reading. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
