It doesn't work "out of the box" when connected to a Multiplus II. Connecting the UTP cable results in a shutdown of the Multiplus. "Error#7" no assistant found. An extra assistant is no longer needed in the latest Multiplus firmware, but the message still pops-up. One has to change the battery-type to SmartLithium... using the config tool. It would have been easier if detecting the BMS on the VE.Bus would have made that switch automatically (plug-and-play) or if the documentation would have made this procedure clearer. I now had to Google for it and be guided by tips from other buyers.

Ce n’est pas du tout le meilleur moyen de recharger une lithium , il vaut mieux un chargeur dc dcMais point une petite lithium max 50ah voir 100ah ça peux dépanner , le gros intérêt du cyrix lithium li CTEst qu’il a une borne pour entrer une commande du BMS , qui peux coupera charge et éteindre le cyrixLa batterie ne sera jamais chargeee a 100% avec un cyrix faut le savoirMais pour un usage simple ça fais parfaitement l’affaireIl faut câbler La borne de commande sur un + si vous ne l’utilisez pas sinon le cyrix ne fonctionnera pas

I am disappointed as I bought this for a campervan and after it was installed and we noticed our campervan “house” batteries not getting charged, we took it two electricians who both concluded this is a faulty device. We bought this in November and installed it in January only to figure out it never worked and now the return window has passed. Wasted money 😢
