You pay your money & you take your choice. Villeroy Bock are not cheap, but you get quality. I learnt to be careful about measurements of the seat & pan. If you have a seat look at the shape & thickness carefully. There are too many equivalents & you'll be disappointed, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

On peut lui reprocher son aspect massif, mais il est en fait léger et la manipulation est aisée. Le démontage sans outil facilite le nettoyage et il confortable. Seule sa matière le Duroplast fait Allemagne de l'Est comme les Trabants, pas très écolo....

Great price and delivered the next day!This is an authentic Villeroy and Boch seat with a soft close mechanism. It was easy to install and replace the previous seat. The standard colour is Alpine White which should suit the majority of bathrooms.The other shade of white is Star White, this is a brighter white. If you're replacing an existing seat check whether it says Star White near the logo. If it doesn't Alpine White is most likely the colour of the seat.

Replaced our slimline version which I if I'm honest is much better than this chunky version. TBH the price of both products when shopping was hugely excessive and we bought this version as about £75 cheaper than the slimmer version. Not sure how Villeroy & Boch justify the cost of some of their products. Its done the job but I wouldnt say Im a 100% happy. Service from supplier was very good and the item was delivered promptly.
