I highly recommend this lens! I am using it with Nikon Zf and works great!

Mein Antrieb dieses Objektiv zu kaufen, waren Ganz-Körper Portraits von einer am Boden liegenden Frau, die ich von oben fotografiert habe. Dafür brauchte ich ein Objektiv, dass nicht nur in der Mitte performt, sondern auch an den am Rand befindlichen Kopf und die Füße hinreichend scharf abbildet.Im Allgemeinen sagt man ja 3. Herstellern, die extrem preiswerte Objektive anbieten, dass das auch mit einem sichtbaren Verlust an Qualität daher kommt. Und grundsätzlich stimmt das auch. Original-Nikon Objektive liefern noch gerade am Rand noch ein bißchen mehr Schärfe oder insgesamt mehr Kontrast. Aber das hat seinen Preis, den ich für diesen Gelegenheits-Job nicht ausgeben wollte.Aber hier war ich vom Ergebnis wirklich sehr angetan. Ich habe keine Farbverschiebung wahrgenommen. Der Schärfeabfall war gering und die geringe Vignette, konnte ich problemlos im Post-Prozess ausgleichen.Der Autofokus ist bei 20mm nicht so krass gefordert, war aber deshalb ausreichend schnell und zuverlässig.Also für mich eine klare Budget-Empfehlung.

I've been an amateur photographer for a number of years and have always dreamed of having a lens that can take amazing photos like this. The problem is, wide-angled 13mm f1.4 lenses with tack-sharp focus at an affordable price is as mythical as a unicorn. Though I never ever buy third party lenses, the reviews on this lens were too good to ignore. I'm not talking about just Amazon reviews but reviews from the big guns like Ken Rockwell, Thom Hogan, and Dustin Abbott. All of them pretty much gushed over the Viltrox lenses. So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Black Friday 13mm f1.4 and I am so glad I did. Just putzing around the house for a few minutes produced so very impressive results. Center focus with this lens wide open is mind blowingly sharp and the buttery soft bokeh is nothing short of divine. Hard to imagine a better lens at any price. Just happy I took the chance and got a mighty fine lens for a pittance. For me, buying a top performing all metal Chinese lens for a fraction of the cost of its all-plastic Chinese counterpart was not a difficult decision once I got past brand name. The build quality on this lens is amazing and makes all my other "N" lenses feel like cheap pieces of Chinese junk. Anyhow, I am so impressed and so blown away with this lens that I am also buying the Viltrox 27mm 1.2 Pro. The pictures posted are with the Nikon Z50 ii at f1.4, auto ISO.

Credo che su questa lente,ormai,ci sia ben poco da aggiungere,rapporto qualità/prezzo insuperabile,maneggevolezza,peso,ingombro irrisori,immaggine nitida anche a tutta apertura,decade leggermente ai bordi ma si puo accettare visto il prezzo.Tengo quest'obbiettivo sempre nello zaino da quando l'ho provato la prima volta, lo uso con Nikon Z,insostituibile.Per onesta di cronaca tengo a sottolineare che non ci si deve aspettare un Nikon come qualità, ma ognuno farà le proprie valutazioni anche riguardo alla spesa.5 stelle

Does what it says

Thought I would make all aware, purchased in September 23, thought it was time (December 24) to check for any firmware updates, it’s appears I’ve missed two. Using my Mac OS Sequoia 15.1.1, I mount the lens on my Mac and I carry all the instructions as described but when I copy/drop the update into the DFU it's not uploading/replacing the firmware new for old. I contact Viltrox technical UK they instructed me to contact the supplier which is Viltrox! I then explained that this isn’t a supplier issue and more a technical issue, so they instructed me to contact Viltrox.com! Very very poor technical help as it’s clear there is some incompatibility issues with OS. So be aware.Update 30/12/2024, after attempting to download 01.05 utilising my USB C from my portable hard drive and low and behold the new file copied across and updated the firmware for the lens, so ensure you use a good quality high speed data lead.So now I’ve got this sorted I would give the lens 5 stars, as it’s good quality and brilliant value for money.
