I'm rating this lens in context of its price, and I think it's great! It's ultra-small and ultra-light, but the quality of images it produces is far better than its low price would suggest. I received it in the middle of a trip, so I've only had a chance to try it on my Z8, but I think it'll look slightly less comical on my Z6iii. The lens is built well and works flawlessly out of the box.Images are surprisingly sharp, lacking just a tad in color and contrast, both of which can be remedied with different camera profiles or editing. Focus can be a tad slow in darker environments, but I've found that the lens isn't really suitable for low-light indoor photos. However, I'm getting around that limitation by using a cheap little Godox flash, which instantly transforms the capabilities of this little lens. So for my usage scenario, snapshots with a better camera than a smartphone, it's perfect; and yes, images are better from this on a proper Z camera than any smartphone will provide.

Just out of the box and the lens will not autofocus and won't even allow you to select Autofocus in your camera's menu. I have tied it on my Nikon Zf camera. Tried reseating the lens several times. There doesn't seem to be a way to update the firmware from a Windows computer. I tried to download the Viltrox app for Windows but Windows Defender blocked the download as unsafe software. Once again, Chinese Junk (and I don't mean a Chinese boat!) A cheap Meike AF lens works fine on the same camera so I know it's not a problem with the camera. Total waste of $99.

Zマウント用の販売を心待ちにしていました。Z30に付けて自転車で散策しました。動作・操作にクセのあるレンズですが、撮影画像は液晶上は非常にきれいな仕上がりで、とても楽しくなるレンズです。時々誤作動があったり、近距離のAFが合致しない等のエピソードはありますが、それを加味しても気軽に撮影できて面白いレンスだと思います。
