I bought this to use with a Katsu router. I picked the 8mm version as I thought it might be a bit stronger. I was trying to cut a feather in a series of 19mm boards. Part of the problem is it's to big for that size of wood, you cannot remove the cutting splines because the screw thread on the stock does not go down the stock far enough and thus you can only use the bit fully assembled. When I did get it to cut the feathers were to imprecise to be usable. It's now in the back of the tool box probably never to see the light of day again. Luckily it was cheap, I have seen these bits at over £100.
