Last autumn when visiting Japan House in London I spied some aluminium clothes pegs in the gift shop, which were sadly out of stock, but it set me on a path to find an alternative. Initially I wasn’t that enamoured of the other examples I came across, as most were stainless steel rather than aluminium, and often quite fussy-looking, but after several months searching, I decided to go with stainless steel after all as they seemed to be much more widely available - and here we are.Initially I was quite worried as the Amazon listing called these clothes pegs, but the label on the box actually says food clips. Needn’t have worried though, as these are small, but super-strong, and can hold up even really sodden jeans or wet woolly jumpers with absolutely no problems. You get a huge boxful (60-odd), in a simple minimalist design, so both form and function. Great value too. 100% recommend.
