Happy with the produkt. Bought it to extend the cage.

I had two separate Vision cages for my two budgies, since one was young and new, and the other was old and had recently lost his cagemate. They needed their own space while they got to know each other. But once it became clear they got along, I wanted to give them one cage. I thought about buying one of the Vision double-high cages, but really cringed that I had just bought two of the single-high cages, and it was annoying me to turn around and drop a ton more money.Thank goodness Amazon lets you look at magnified images of the products. That's when I realized the only difference between the single height cages and the double height ones are these clips. Just make sure that the two cages you are stacking are the same model, and look at Vision's website to make sure you're buying the correct clips for your model.So bingo...bought these clips and have now combined my two cages into one. Which allows my birds some company, while giving them more room to move around. Height isn't the ideal way to add space, by the way. Better to add width and depth to allow for more flying. But it's really hard to find cages that are wider and deeper than these, without going to something heavy and expensive and ugly. And I really love that the Vision cages keep the mess contained. Very glad I found a way to inexpensively get more out of the two I'd purchased!

surprisingly strong i combined the two cages and they can totally support the weight of the top and bottom.
