Hab sie noch nicht gefischt, ich bin aber zuversichtlich!

Let's just say these big flies work really well when the flood is dropping. I had an explosive evening in a river in Ireland. Caught brown trout, salmon and sea trout all in the one stretch. The bloody butcher size 6 was the best fly. Within an hour I had enough and left. I heard my grandfather supposedly used big files in the 60's in Ireland and had great success. Over the years people started to scale down and go really finesse with their presentation...but the old big files are still legendary 👍So glad I went for these. So I ordered more and looking forward to getting out again tomorrow evening 👍 All my fish are caught and released.
