I have an indoor cat but I like having the windows open in the summer without worrying about him escaping. The windows in my sunroomare quite small and high up so I don't need metal screening like I have on the large upstairs windows and this fits the bill. I would definitely be wary about using it on large upstairs windows as his sharp claws could absolutely shred the screen material. If you don't have cats I think this could be used on upstairs windows no problem.It was very easy to install the screening, just clean the window frames, and stick on the hook tape and then fix the screen material to the tape. To make it easier to remove and restock when opening the window you need to ensure you cut the screen material an inch bigger than the window so keep that in mind when trimming the excess. The tape seems to stick firmly but I wish it was a bit thicker just to ensure the screen stays in place. The material is quite thin but seems fairly strong and stretches nicely, it looks virtually invisible from a distance, and doesn't affect light in the room. Once installed it definitely keeps the bugs out but let's fresh air in so I would say it functions as needed. This is certainly an inexpensive set up and I really appreciate the cutter and tool to stuck the screen to the hook-tape.Overalli think this is an inexpensive and easy way of keeping bugs out of your home but still benefitting from good ventilation. If you have cats you probably need something more robust for larger upstairs windows, but otherwise a cheap and cheerful solution so I'd happily recommend it. 5*
