We wanted this to protect a cable which crosses a doorframe, and to replace the threshold strip at a transition between types of flooring (original floorboards and slightly higher vinyl). It's perfect. The strip is flexible, but firm enough not to compress if stood on. It was easy to cut it along the underside (there's a pre-marked line) to get the cable in. We were able to cut the ends exactly to fit the sides of the doorframe, allowing the cable to be completely concealed by the skirting on either side. The result is very neat and the adhesive strips hold it firmly down.

I was looking forward to this, but it’s not sticky enough and keeps coming up. I followed the instructions and cleaned the area properly and still keeps popping up. Also not easy for wire to go though, I had to cut a line under just to get the wire in.

It hasn't been in use more than a few days so we will see how it copes over time. Does look better than the bare wires and apparently it is paintable - if I get around to that
