I received them on Friday. What a remarkable purchase.A bit of Background:Owning/ed: Fidelio X1, Sennheiser 598SE, Sennheiser RS170, Sennheiser 280ProSources: iMac, Home Amp and a Galaxy s7All my cans but th eRS170 were open cans, that's a "no no" for office environment. I like to listen to my music a little bit loud. Perfect excuse to get a new pair :)First things I noticed when I got the box:*small! they are smaller than expected.*Solid built and heavy*Nice cable, it does not tangle, also made of cord/lace style*Earpads are smallish, looking for XL pads at the moment but v-moda makes you pay premium for delivery in EU*They come with a case, a very nice one to be fair, very compact and sturdy.Now sound:*Bass is very extreme*mids are muddy out of the box but a bit od equalizing sorts it fully*highs are a small bit recessed but I'm actually happy about that as it makes them a bit more clear*Stage: Surprising for the size of the cans*Loud? Yes, loads. I cannot emphasize that enough*Isolation/Insulation: In my personal opinion, spectacular, I can put them nearly at 75% volume without a leak. Obviously, I hear absolutely nothing from the office noise I am so used to.Comfort:Far from very comfortable, being used to the Fidelio x1, these are not as good, they clamp to my (big) head to the point of feeling a little bit squashed. I would say they are ok for up to 2 or 3 hours if you head is as big as mine (58cm)Now, I have small ears, yet the earpads are fair. So, if you have big ears, look for the bigger pads in v-moda's site and pay a premium for delivery.All in all, I love the sound, they are loud, bassy and noise leak free. Paid £77 pounds for them, at that price is hard not to click the buy button.At last I can feel in peace with my own music at work.

Premetto di non essere un audiofilo esperto, ma ho provato diverse cuffie, e queste hanno di gran lunga superato tutte le mie aspettative. Qualità del suono ottima, audio equilibrato su tutte le frequenze con un volume davvero alto. Sono comode e non si fanno sentire nemmeno dopo lunghe sessioni di ascolto. Altro punto degno di nota è l'altissima cura del cliente da parte del brand e la possibilità di personalizzare queste cuffie. Consigliate se non si vuole ricorrere a brand più blasonati e se si cerca un prodotto più di nicchia ma con altissime potenzialità.

This is by far the most durable over ear headphones,,they are built like a tank,,you can stretch the headphones and not worry about breaking it or something,,such an amazing quality. The second thing I would like to talk about is the packaging and accessories that come with it,,first the packaging is really neat even the box is so premium in feel,,then when you open the box you will find the warranty card along with the case that carries the headphones and the cables and the carabiner. The case is exoskeleton case that looks like a Spider-Man suit and it is hard carrying case which is very durable as well,,also there are 2 cables included both of them are Kevlar reinforced and one of them come with a single remote and the other is just plain cable,,the only thing I wished is that I hoped the cable came with 3 button remote but it is ok I can live with that,,it was just important to note about that. Also it comes with 2 shields as you can swap them later if you want,,you can do that by watching a YouTube video about it,,all you just need to do that is to get a small screwdriver and you're good to go,,the ones that are pre-installed are the matte black finish while the ones included are gunmetal ones,,very good from V Moda to include that.Sound qualityThe sound quality is pure perfection for my taste of music as I love listening to electronic,,dup step and dance music as long as some alternative and pop music and the headphones actually exceeded my expectations for them in that regard. The reason I chose the crossfade lp2 was that it has a much clearer sound than crossfade lp after reading some information online and they were correct about that as the sound is so clear and not muddy at all plus there is a tremendous amount of bass. They are a little bit less bassier than beats but they are million times more durable and clearer. Also it is important to note that these headphones are not natural sounding ones so if you are after that you can look after the audio technica m50 or bose soundtrue around ear headphonesAlso worth mentioning that they are very comfortable while wearing them and I wear glasses which means not every headphones can work with me but these are very comfortable,,yes there is a little bit of clamp force but that's expected in order to be in place while hearing them,,so in this regard they are excellent but of course your mileage may vary.IsolationAs far as isolation goes these ones are completely noise isolating but not noise cancelling,,there a difference between the two noise cancelling requires batteries and also they produce a sound that cuts the noise from the outside while noise isolating headphones doesn't require batteries in order for them to operate and the crossfade lp2 belongs to the noise isolating headphones,,when you turn them on you will be submerged in the world of your music,,you won't be able to hear any of your surroundings so it will be excellent in eliminating all the noises around you and also they will work very good in any plane flight. As for the leakage I was so impressed and surprised by how they don't leak much of a sound,,so definitely I can take them with me to listen to my music in public libraries where you don't want anyone to listen to your music and also not to disturb people around you,,so also they are excellent in that regard.In conclusion,,I'm so happy that I purchased them and V Moda are always continuing impressing me about their quality of headphones,starting from durability to their sound quality and may be one day I will purchase the M100 as they are also on my checklist for future headphones. Definitely a recommended product and you won't be disappointed by them as long as you know for what reason you are purchasing them for,,I tried to explain that in my review for them. Way to go V Moda!

Unboxing experience was awesome. First experience felt its built and sound just perfect. Its for listeners who love bass so if u love bass in every type of music then this is just perfect. For Ghazals, ballads, country music etc this wouldnt be a perfect choice. This has a very effective 3D surrond stage and sound s superb for Rock, lounge, EDM, Rave and Trance. I wanted all rounder and expected this to do the job but after hearing i told myself will keep for the music its made for. Well done V Moda and Ferrari Video for getting this to us for a very decent price. Am sure these will get better after few weeks of burnin.Had tears after listening to kitaro's Run Huang on LP2. Its many many years i had heard it and just loved how it reflected to hear it on the LP2. Amazing..just amazing.6+ hours burnin : Enigma and Richard Marx..sounds..wow.8+ hours burning : Foreigner Flac Remastered sounds .. Mind blowing.
