This thing far surpasses my expectations. I was highly skeptical when I saw the name of the brand. Let me tell you, don't let that hold you back from getting this.Box opening:This thing impresses. I'm a sucker for a great "unpacking " experience. They use matte finish materials on their box, premium fitted foam for their packing material, and very thick cardboard material for the box.The build quality feels extremely solid. No creaks, nothing flexes or bends. The remote also has more of that "matte" finish, that just makes the whole thing FEEL more premium. The box itself is smaller than I thought it would be. It's about the length and width of a standard credit card.After plugging it in:This is extremely easy to set up for anyone that can use a phone, but the instructions and how the box comes right out of the package makes it so there isn't much work needed.It's a highly customized Android build that works extremely well with the car. The remote was nice, but I didn't realize that it also fully supported my car's touch screen. Oh man oh MAN. It made setting up the connections and my Google account even easier. I also didn't notice any lag with usage.The WiFi is default to on, this allows you to either connect your multimedia box to your hotspot to update and download any apps that you want, but it's also required for the wireless Android Auto.After getting the Android Auto set up, I exited back out to the main UI for the box and loaded up YouTube to test some videos. I didn't have any issues there. This device does feature screen mirroring, but just because I had it set up a certain way, I used my hotspot. Mirroring would avoid having to use your hotspot data. I'm sure there are plenty more things I can do with this, but this has blown me away.Closing thoughts: If this company makes more products like this in the future, count me in. With car prices and interest rates out of control in the US, I'm not going to buy a new car anytime soon. So anything that can enhance my car's features even more for the extremely competitive price, count me in.

Picked this up for my Hyundai Ioniq 5, and it’s been really great. I use a Pixel 8 and my wife has an iPhone 15. We tested both Android Auto and CarPlay wirelessly, and both connected without any issues. No weird setup. Just plug it into the USB port, wait a few seconds, hit the Android or CarPlay button, and you’re good to go.One of the unexpected bonuses is that it runs Android apps directly. I bought my first wireless CarPlay box 2 years ago, it worked perfectly and still works but the only gripe I had with it was that I can’t control it with the steering wheel buttons, only with the buttons on my touchscreen. So, my co-worker asked about my box and I sent him the link, not knowing it was no longer available so I went looking for another one for him and found this one. It’s light years ahead of my old box and easily a tenth of its dimensions! It’s literally smaller than a credit card but packs a crazy punch! It comes with a usb-c cord, an HDMI cord, and a third for good measure. This box allows control from the steering wheel and the head unit, a big plus and the other thing that I really like it’s that there’s almost no lag on the boot up. Meaning, by the time I crank my truck and the factory boot up logo is fading away, it’s already booted and ready to go. If you’re thinking about it, stop and just get it…you’ll thank me later.
